Okay, I'm surprised I'm the first to post this, but I have some VSTis which run standalone, but didn't show up in the initial scan that Reason 9.5 did. (Lots of others showed up immediately and run great!)

SO what's the procedure to:

a) figure out whether they are actually VSTs (I'm on a Mac, so they could be AUs)

1. So i'm trying to use Omnisphere 2 in Maschine 2 on my windows 10 comp but for some reason it is not showing up in the menu list. Omnisphere 2 is a 64bit Software Instrument and i'm using the 64bit mode of Maschine. I did a full install of Omnisphere which included the AAX and VST version of the plugin.
2. I have installed the Reaper Reaplugs which I see in the C:/Program Files/VST (no plugins name after the VST) folder and I also just copied the Rovee VST plugin not originally in that folder into it but none are showing in the drop down list.

b) if they are VSTs, identify whether they are VST2.4 - or whatever level it is that works. I know it's not V3.
c) put them where Reason can find them

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this! Just for reference, the VSTs I'm looking for are: Morphine by Image-Line (my only Image-Line instrument), Absynth by Native Instruments (I also have Reaktor 5, which shows up, but I haven't figured out how to make it work yet, and PPGWave by Waldorf (Palm) - I also have Wavegenerator by PPG (Palm) and that one works fine.

PS: for anyone who's wondering, these VSTs all work fine on my Mac in Reason 9.5: All of Arturia's Virtual Instruments: Analog Lab 2, ARP2600 V3, CS-80 V3, Matrix-12 V3, Mini V3, Modular V3, Oberheim SEM V (and SEM V2), Propher V3, and Synclavier V, and PPG's Wavegenerator. Native Instruments' Reaktor 5 shows up in the instrument browser and in the effects browser (3 times! As FX, FX 2x8, and Surround), but I haven't figured out how to make it work yet.
